- Become familiar with editing wiki pages in general. If you just want to try it out, you can do so in the OOModels:Sandbox.
- If you don't already have, create an account and login (Why do I need an account?).
- Let's assume your namespace is named 'com/example/my/package'.
- Create a wiki page named Namespace:com/example/my/package. You can do so by linking to yonder page with a wiki link, like here in this sentence. You can also just type the respective URL in your browser http://www.oomodels.org/wiki/index.php/Namespace:com/example/my/package (learn more about wiki page names)
- Now you can create a namespace from scratch, or you can just copy&paste the wiki code from an existing namespace page (e.g. Namespace:org/omg) and adopt it to your needs.
- Make sure, that you stick precisely to the syntax specification, because namespace pages are not only used directly, but are also partially included in the metabox of items belonging to this namespace. Therefore, if your page contains a syntax error, all depending pages may become erranous if not useless.
