WIDL - Wiki Diagram Language - is an experimental diagram language to be used within wikis to describe object oriented model diagrams.
It was invented soon after launching oomodels.org, to ease writing of diagrams in an extremely simply and fast way within the wiki.
So the wiki principle - to make it easy to write simple formatted texts - was applied to diagram writing.
With the conversion capabilities of oomodels.org this is a serious yet easy to use alternative to describe diagrams.
