Difference between revisions of "Category:Application Provisioning Engine"

We coined the generic term Application Provisioning to subsume the activities of code generators, model interpreters, model transformators, model compilers and alike to be able to refer to a functional category without having to name the specific choice of technology or concrete implementation.

It is conceivable, in fact already partially possible, not to mention desirable to use such a provisioning engine without knowing about that implementation and be able to exchange implementation according to your needs (performance, flexibility etc.).
