We coined the generic term ''Application Provisioning'' to subsume the activities of
[[:Category:Code Generator|code generators]], [[:Category:Model Interpreter|model interpreters]], [[:Category:Model Transformator|model transformators]], [[:Category:Model Compiler|model compilers]] and alike to be able to refer to a functional category without
having to name the specific choice of technology or concrete implementation.

It is conceivable, in fact already partially possible, not to mention desirable to
use such a provisioning engine without knowing about that implementation and be
able to exchange implementation according to your needs (performance, flexibility etc.).
